Last month, Shanghai Disneyland began testing on their new Spider-Man rollercoaster, and today they’ve announced that full-speed tests of the ride are underway.
Walt Disney Imagineering have posted the below video to their Instagram page, teasing a short clip of the roller coaster running along the tracks.
The roller coaster is set to feature in Shanghai Disneyland’s upcoming Spider-Man themed land; the park’s ninth themed area, and the first land in a Disney park solely dedicated to a single Marvel character.
The ride and land are expected to open next year, though a date is yet to be revealed. Disney have not yet released the official name of the roller coaster either, though it’s encouraging to see the ride hitting a new milestone today in its construction.
