Energylandia in Poland has announced details of Rokan, Europe’s tallest and longest wing coaster, which will be opening in the park next year.
Manufactured by Bolliger and Mabillard, the new roller coaster will open along with Volana, a brand new themed zone in the park said to be “inspired by the legend of the valley of monoliths – a place where a wandering tribe found its home and the winged guardian Rokan watched over the valley.”
Alongside the announcement, the park revealed some of the ride’s key stats, with a ride time of 141 seconds, height of 62 metres, top speed of 115 km/h and 1,215 metres of track. That makes Rokan not only Europe’s tallest and longest wing coaster, but the tallest B&M wing coaster in the world.
Energylandia currently ties with Six Flags Magic Mountain for the top spot when it comes to the size of their coaster line-up, with both parks currently operating 19 roller coasters, the most in the world. Rokan will be Energylandia’s 20th coaster – which could potentially see the park nab first place for a time, depending on when Magic Mountain open their 2027 coaster, Thrill Glider.
You can find out more about Rokan on Energylandia’s website.
