Stomach growling? As the spooky season gets underway, Disney have unveiled some more frightful details about the food offering coming to Monstropolis when it opens its gates at Hollywood Studios next year.
The brand new area will bring two new restaurants, set in the world of Monsters, Inc., to satisfy even the most monstrous of appetites.
Fans of the movie will recognise Harryhausen’s, the Japanese-inspired restaurant where Boo shakes up the monster world. Disney’s Imagineers are hard at work bringing the restaurant to the human world, complete with an audio-animatronic of the movie’s tentacled sushi chef. Menu items will be inspired by Japanese dishes and flavours, including ramen bowls and fishcakes.
Monstropolis will also bring Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza. Inspired by Monsters University, this quick-service restaurant will be designed to feel like a student-frequented pizza spot. It’ll also be where guests can pick up a refreshing cup of Blort – one of the most popular drinks in all of Monstropolis.
