After closing in August, it looks like ArieForce One is relocating to Six Flags Magic Mountain.

Magic Mountain’s president, Brian Oerding, revealed the news in a statement, slating the coaster’s relocation planned for 2028.

ArieForce One, a steel rollercoaster manufactured by RMC, opened at Fun Spot America Atlanta in 2023. The coaster was the largest investment Fun Spot America had ever made into a ride, and was an acclaimed coaster in the industry until the closure of the park saw it cease operation earlier this year.

In an official press release, Six Flags confirmed that they plan to keep the rollercoaster’s name, “honoring the attraction’s history,” and its nod to Fun Spot America founder John Arie Sr., the coaster’s namesake.

Mark Pauls, Chief Operating Officer at Six Flags, said:

“From the moment ArieForce One closed, we knew how much this coaster meant to the enthusiast community and to guests who made the journey to experience it. We’re thrilled to preserve its legacy, invest in its future and bring this extraordinary attraction to a new generation of guests.”

ArieForce One will be Magic Mountain’s third RMC, alongside hybrid coaster Twisted Colossus and Raptor single-rail coaster Wonder Woman Flight of Courage. It’ll bring the park’s operating coaster total up to 18, after Thrill Glider, the first-of-its-kind, world-record-breaking suspended Vekoma coaster, opens next year.
